This blog is first and foremost a study of various passages in the Bible that relate to science with a particular emphasis on physics and cosmology. Various ideas that come out of this study are also discussed.

My fundamental premise is that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God. When it talks about scientific matters it can be trusted. The Biblical view point should shape my science and not vice-versa.

I believe that the Biblical thinking Christian is in the best position to make a positive contribution to science. This is not because I think Christians are more intelligent than anybody else, but they have the advantage of having God’s revelation in the Bible to guide them. The Bible is true and corresponds to reality. Unfortunately, this is not guaranteed in regards to science theories. Having said that, the challenge still remains of studying the Bible in its proper historical context in order to gain a better understanding of what it says.

It is my intention that this blog will help others, and myself, to better understand God’s revelation in regards to science and, in the process, help us to better understand God’s wonderful creation. Ultimately, this should stir our hearts in praise to God and bring glory to Him alone.

I came across your Eph 3:18 page while I was preparing a bible study. Thank you for your explanation. I made a graphic based off your design that I would like to give you if you want to use it. I used an illustration of the open water to better help my group understand.
